Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Executive Director and serving as an integral member of the senior
management team, the Operations & Program Support Manager is responsible for advancing
the organization’s strategic goals while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This dual-role
position combines operational leadership with direct support for youth programs and staff.
The Operations & Program Support Manager will lead internal systems improvement, oversee
staff coordination, and help develop and implement organizational policies and procedures. As
part of a nonprofit team, responsibilities and duties may evolve based on the needs of the
organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Organizational Development
• Contribute to the development and implementation of The Post’s strategic goals and
objectives.
• Maintain open communication with the Executive Director regarding organizational
priorities and challenges.
• Represent The Post at community events, partnerships, and other external engagements
as needed.
Team Development & Supervision
• Oversee, direct, and organize the work of operations and youth support staff.
• Promote a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship, training, and performance evaluations for team members.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to ensure balanced workloads and effective team
coordination.
Operational Management
• Develop, refine, and implement policies, procedures, and internal control systems (with
Executive Director approval).
• Oversee daily operational functions to ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic
plan.
• Support evening staff and youth programs, maintaining a visible leadership presence
during operational hours.
• Participate in on-site and off-site youth programs, classes, and community activities.
• Ensure technology systems and office software (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel,
Windows 11, Canva) are used effectively for communication, scheduling, and project
management.
• Assist with communications, document creation, and promotional materials using
Microsoft Office Suite and Canva.
Qualifications
• Experience working in or with a nonprofit organization; familiarity with nonprofit
compliance and reporting.
• Proven success in managing organizational operations or similar leadership roles.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Windows 11 operating
systems, and Canva for communications and creative materials.
• Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and lead diverse teams.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
• Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Collaborative and flexible team player who can adapt to changing priorities.
• Passionate about The Post’s mission and committed to supporting youth development.
• Ability to lead youth programs, activities, and prayer groups with professionalism and
enthusiasm.
