Overview
We are seeking an experienced CPA or CPA candidate to join our firm. This position offers a clear path to the Partner level, which makes it an excellent opportunity for a CPA who wants more than a traditional employee role and is interested in advancing into firm leadership and potential ownership.
Duties
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, estates and trusts
- Manage and develop client relationships
- Identify tax planning opportunities
- Communicate with clients regarding tax matters, missing information, and filing requirements
- Assist with tax research and responding to IRS and state notices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate filings during tax season and throughout the year
- Prepare financial statements and associated bookkeeping services
Qualifications
- CPA or EA license
- 3-5 years as a tax preparer/manager
- Experience reviewing tax returns and managing client engagements.
- Ability to independently manage deadlines and multiple client projects.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.
