Marketing Manager

SUMMARY

#1 Priority: Build and execute marketing campaigns that grow the GORUCK brand and connect with our community.

This role sits at the center of Marketing — driving seasonal initiatives, brand storytelling, and daily execution across channels. You’ll partner with Brand, Creative, E-commerce, Growth, and Product teams to bring ideas to life. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Execute integrated marketing campaigns that build engagement and drive growth.
• Manage campaign execution end-to-end: briefs, timelines, asset development, launches, recaps.
• Partner with internal teams and agencies to align digital marketing, PR, influencer partnerships, community events, and special company moments with broader marketing initiatives. 
• Bring cultural and consumer insights into campaign planning through market research — focusing on fitness, wellness, rucking, and community.
• Manage marketing budgets, calendar, agency relationships, and marketing KPI reporting.
• Direct management of performance marketing and marketing operations teammates.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5–7 years of brand marketing or consumer marketing experience (fitness, outdoor, lifestyle, or premium consumer goods preferred).
• Strong grasp of digital marketing channels and how they connect to brand storytelling.
• Ability to manage campaigns from strategy through execution, with attention to detail and results.
• Experience managing budgets, agencies, and cross-functional teams.
• A strong sense of culture and community — fitness/wellness, rucking, or adjacent spaces.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a bias toward action.
• Passion for the GORUCK brand and a team-first mentality.
