About the Position: Gorman Construction is looking for reliable, experienced Construction Carpenters/Laborers to join our team for a multi-unit apartment renovation project in Cushing, OK. This is a full-time position for the duration of the project (approximately 12 months).
Job Duties:
- Demolition
- Rough carpentry and framing
- Finish carpentry
- Cabinet and countertop installation
- Appliance installation
- Drywall installation, repair, and painting
- Installation of light and plumbing fixtures
- General construction labor and site work as needed
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
- Previous experience in residential construction (demo, framing, finish work preferred)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Cushing, OK
- Physically able to perform the demands of construction work
