Employment Services Specialist The Gorham School Department is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Employment Services Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This position is responsible for administering employee leaves and employment agreements in accordance with district policies and federal and state regulations, ensuring accurate recordkeeping, timely communication, and responsive support to staff. Key responsibilities include managing FMLA and Maine Paid Family Medical Leave; administering workers' compensation and COBRA compliance; supporting MainePERS retirement enrollment; coordinating compliance training and professional development reimbursements; maintaining documentation of staff eligibility to transport students; and supporting employee engagement initiatives including the Best Places to Work survey. Ideal candidates bring experience in human resources or leave administration, a strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations, and proficiency with digital platforms and data systems. This is a four-day-per-week, twelve-month position. Salary and benefits to be established by the School Committee.
