Gordon, an award-winning A/E design firm, is seeking entry-level and experienced landscape architects to join our expanding landscape architecture team.
Headquartered in Virginia, we have a significant design presence in the Washington DC Metro area, and we have been expanding our landscape architecture portfolio both locally and nationally. We also encourage team members to expand their expertise in areas such as sustainable site design, parks and recreation, and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED).

Depending on your level of experience, responsibilities of the position will include:
- Assist with developing conceptual designs and storyboards for a wide variety of project types
- Prepare illustrative drawings and 3D modeling exhibits
- Assist with developing technical designs for construction document packages
- Design and manage a variety of small and large scale projects for public and private clients
- Support marketing and business development efforts
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and LandFX is preferred. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Lumion, Sketchup, or other 3D modeling tools is a plus. Strong hand-drawing skills are also desirable.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills along with enthusiasm, creativity, and a commitment to producing high quality work.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited university or an equivalent degree combined with related work experience.
