Location:** Walnut Creek / East Bay, California (Field & In-Home Based)  

Earning Potential:** Base Uncapped Commissions – Top performers earn $150K–$300K

You are a talented, detail-driven Outside Design & Sales Consultant who thrives on transforming residential spaces inside and out. Using 3D virtual design tools like Chief Architect, AI-powered planning, and Notability, you bring homeowners’ dreams to life with stunning colors, finishes, and custom solutions.

In this consultative role, you’ll meet East Bay homeowners to explore their indoor/outdoor living visions, deliver accurate project estimates, and guide them through personalized design options. You excel at generating leads, building lifelong client relationships, closing sales, and ensuring project success through thoughtful follow-up.

• Salary Commission Profit Share: $110,000 - $150,000 On-Target Earnings. Composed of a $70,500 guaranteed base salary (meeting California exempt professional requirements), an uncapped 2% commission on signed design and construction agreements, and active participation in our Quarterly Company Profit Sharing Program.

• Professional Certification Required: Must possess a valid California Licensed Architect (AIA) credential, a Certified Interior Designer (CID) certification through the CCIDC, or equivalent.
• Design & Drafting Mastery: 5 or more years of proven experience in residential architectural design, interior architecture, or high-end design-build drafting.
• Technical Platform Expertise: Flawless proficiency in standard industry design platforms (e.g., Chief Architect, AutoCAD, or Revit) as well as Google Suite & Microsoft Office tools.
• Comprehensive Selection Management: Extensive experience guiding residential clients through full-scope material, color, and finish specification pipelines down to the finest construction detail.
• Consultative Communication Skills: Strong baseline communication skills with natural comfort conducting structured, playbook-based client screening and qualification calls.
• Compliance & Logistics: Valid California State driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance.
• Operational Readiness: Valid Social Security Number, physical ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance, and ability to pass a standard background check and drug testing without incident.
