Gordon Prill, Inc. is seeking a talented Senior Architect with the experience and skills to develop designs for complex industrial and technology projects from inception through construction documents. This person will be an essential member of a team of in-house professionals including architects, designers, mechanical and electrical engineers and construction managers. Salary will be commensurate with educational background and project experience.
Requirements:
- Licensed Architect in California
- 10 years minimum Architectural Design or Project Management experience
- Experience with Labs, Clean Rooms and Industrial projects
- Ability to own a project from start to finish with ability to oversee the execution of the team and consultants through the design development process.
- Strong production skills using Autodesk Revit
- Strong production skills using AutoCAD
- Knowledge of current Title 24, CBC and local Building and Fire Codes is essential
- Experience with local planning and building department approval processes including zoning approvals, entitlements, and building permits. (DSA and HCAI experience are a plus)
- Effective and strong presentation skills
- Comfortable representing the company as project contact with client management and end-users
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to direct a team of architects, engineers, and consultants to create comprehensive drawings and reports that meet client’s expectations and schedules
- Strong teamwork skills to facilitate collaboration, creativity and professional development with others.
- Education: BA or BArch or Masters in Architecture from an accredited university
- LEED accreditation desirable, but not required
