Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Math Interventionist to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will provide targeted, research-based interventions to support students in developing foundational numeracy skills. This role is essential in closing achievement gaps and ensuring all students reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide small-group and individualized instruction in math to students identified as needing additional support.
- Implement research-based intervention strategies to support student growth in numeracy.
- Use data from assessments to track student progress, adjust instruction, and collaborate with teachers to meet student needs.
- Work closely with classroom teachers to align intervention strategies with core classroom instruction.
- Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families about student progress and strategies for continued growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and intervention strategies.
- Participate in professional development and training to stay current on best practices in math intervention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, mathematics, or a related field.
- Valid Missouri teaching certification; certification in mathematics and/or intervention preferred.
- Experience working with elementary students in a math intervention role.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based numeracy intervention strategies.
- Ability to analyze student data and adjust instruction accordingly.
