We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with three or more years of professional accounting experience to join our public accounting team and take an active role in tax, client accounting, financial reporting, and client service engagements. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who is ready to assume greater engagement responsibility, develop client relationships, and provide guidance to less-experienced team members.
The Senior Accountant will work closely with managers and partners while supervising assigned engagement work and developing staff accountants. Advancement to this level is based on experience and demonstrated readiness to review work, guide others, exercise professional judgment, and assume greater engagement responsibility; it is not based on years of service alone.

· Engagement Supervision - Coordinate and supervise assigned engagement work, monitor progress and deadlines, and provide guidance to staff accountants.
· Financial Reporting and Client Accounting - Prepare and review financial statements, workpapers, complex account analyses, reconciliations, adjusting entries, and supporting schedules.

· Client Relationships - Develop strong client relationships, communicate directly with clients regarding engagement matters, and work with managers and partners to identify and resolve issues.
· Staff Development - Assign and explain work, mentor and train staff accountants, review their work, and provide constructive feedback and on-the-job guidance.
· Engagement Quality - Apply professional judgment, attention to detail, and appropriate professional skepticism to assigned engagements.
· Process Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve engagement efficiency, workflow, documentation, and client service.
· Cross-Office Collaboration - Work collaboratively with partners, managers, and staff across office locations based on client and firm needs.
