Job Description
The Social Media Intern will assist with content creation, social media management, and campaign execution, gaining valuable experience in digital storytelling, branding, and audience engagement. This role will help activate social media strategies that grow organic impressions, engagement, and brand visibility. This internship is in-person, located in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. We are flexible on hours, but strive to have our interns in-office two days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with content creation and copywriting for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok
- Support the development and scheduling of social media posts, campaigns, and content calendars for both agency clients and the firm’s internal channels
- Help manage and monitor client social media accounts, identifying opportunities to increase engagement and reach
- Create graphics and visual assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Assist with photography and videography for social media content and events
- Track social media performance metrics, including impressions and engagement and assist with developing reports
What We’re Looking For
- Interest in social media, digital media, communications, or public relations
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with attention to brand voice and audience
- Familiar with content creation, branding, or graphic design
- Familiarity with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.)
- Interest or experience in photography and videography for social media content
- Passion for helping brands and organizations grow their digital presence
