Duties
- Measure and mark locations for gutter installation based on blueprints and schematics
- Install gutters using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques with precision and efficiency
- Ensure proper alignment and secure fastening of gutters to building structures
- Perform repairs or replacements of existing gutters, including caulking and sealing to prevent leaks
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints for accurate installation
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for site preparation or material handling
- Conduct inspections during and after installation to ensure quality standards are met
- Coordinate with project managers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow
- Maintain safety protocols at all times while working on construction sites or rooftops
- Assist with related tasks such as trimming, stucco application, or masonry work when required
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, roofing materials, and fixture installation techniques
- Knowledge of construction management practices and site safety procedures
- Familiarity with Bluebeam software for digital plan review and documentation (nice-to-have)
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely on construction sites
- Strong understanding of construction inspection standards and quality control processes
- Skills in caulking, trim carpentry, glass installation, cabinet setup, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, concrete finishing, masonry work, welding, plastering, restoration work, framing carpentry, drywall finishing (including plastering), roofing techniques including metal or shingle roofs
- Experience with plumbing and electrical systems relevant to gutter systems or related infrastructure (nice-to-have)
- Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working at heights on rooftops or scaffolding
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and reading technical drawings
