Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Sales Engineering, Business or Technical Degree required.
Additional knowledge and experience in sales with industrial hoses, welding equipment and supplies, safety products, mill supplies, lubricants, and pipe, valves, & fittings are a plus. Must be able to work independently but also be a team player; manage projects, be creative, develop solutions, ability to utilize resources, and work in a professional manner. Must also have strong communication, computer skills, ability to type, and use Microsoft office products.

Gopher Industrial has continued to experience growth, and we are seeking to fill a Technical Account Manager position on our Sales Team that will help manage and/or provide technical support to existing accounts as well as new business.
General Job Description: Provide excellent technical support to clients through calls and onsite visits, securing sales and ensuring customer satisfaction on products and services provided. Conduct assessments to determine the needs of a client, provide solutions, perform follow-up calls, answer inquiries, and present proposals. Work closely with sales team and business development in managing existing accounts and supporting new business.
· Provide technical support for customers to support pre-sales and post-sales processes.
· Obtain sales growth by developing new business revenue by promoting and selling Gopher Industrial products and services to current customers assigned to you and new customers.
· Plan and keep calendar updated with sales calls, both past and present, as well as task.
· Schedule and make daily sales calls to existing or potential customers.
· Support the annual sales objectives of Gopher Industrial and get positive results.
· Develop and execute a sales plan to generate new business.
· Manage and analyze sales progress of accounts assigned and or obtained by you.
· Manage the process of coordinating delivery of proposals and quotes to customers to meet the requirements of the customer.
· Present company and or product presentations to current or potential customers in a professional manner.
· Attending sales training as required.
· Travel as needed for training, trade shows, and business development.
· Attend weekly sales meetings and be prepared.
· Manage expense report, turn in as required, and provide details or justification as required.
· Attend quarterly sales reviews and be capable of presenting specific details as they relate to sales goals set by management and customer accounts assigned to you.
· Attend meetings with senior management to help provide input and or support to overall company direction when called upon.
· Provide leadership by being a great example of the company’s Employee Commitment to Excellence and uphold that commitment as well as following the company’s policies.
· Work safely, attend monthly safety meetings, and promote safety throughout the company.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
