The Sargent Agency is seeking a motivated and driven Insurance Producer / Account Executive to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional, relationship builder, or customer-focused individual looking to build a long-term career in insurance sales, account management, and business development.
No prior insurance experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, strong communication skills, and a desire to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Consult with clients to assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
- Educate clients on homeowners, auto, flood, umbrella, and personal lines insurance products
- Generate new business through networking, referrals, prospecting, lead generation, and community outreach
- Follow up with leads, quote opportunities, and client inquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of client communications and sales activity
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and onboarding process
- Stay current on insurance market trends, carrier guidelines, and product offerings
Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Sales-minded, goal-oriented, and motivated by performance-based compensation
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Coachable, adaptable, and eager to learn new systems/processes
- Professional demeanor with strong organizational skills
- Ability to obtain a North Carolina Property & Casualty Insurance License (licensing assistance available for qualified candidates)
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, account management, retail, banking, real estate, or business development is a plus but not required

Pay: $30,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
