Position Overview
This role serves as the primary liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and agency producers, ensuring policy servicing, renewals, account transitions, and carrier communications are handled efficiently and accurately.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with producers, the Senior Account Manager is instrumental in supporting agency growth, enhancing client retention, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and service a growing book of personal lines insurance accounts, ensuring an exceptional client experience throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Collaborate directly with insurance carriers to resolve underwriting, billing, policy servicing, and coverage-related matters.
- Monitor upcoming renewals, conduct policy reviews, and proactively identify retention and coverage improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within agency management and CRM systems.
- Partner with producers to prepare proposals, secure underwriting approvals, facilitate new business placement, and ensure seamless account transitions.
- Ensure compliance with agency procedures, carrier guidelines, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Deliver outstanding customer service through phone, email, text, and virtual communications, building long-term client relationships through responsiveness and professionalism.
QualificationsRequired
- Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty License.
- Minimum 3 years of personal lines insurance experience.
- Strong understanding of homeowners, auto, umbrella, condo, and landlord insurance products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with agency management systems and carrier portals.
Preferred
- Independent agency or brokerage experience.
- Experience with multiple carriers.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
