You will collaborate with Gemini leads, research scientists, engineers, and other Technical Program Managers to plan, track, and manage all aspects of this engagement. You will be responsible for ensuring that the engagement stays on schedule, managing critical compute resources, identifying and mitigating risks, and designing tools that facilitate timely decision-making. Your role will require a foundational AI knowledge, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment inherent to AI research. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$237,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of technical program or project management experience in a software engineering or cloud environment.
- Experience managing software product launches with engineering and product teams.
- Experience in technical program management in AI or data-centric projects.
- Experience in handling accountability, ownership for end-to-end project life-cycle
- Familiarity with AI infrastructure and compute resources, such as TPU resource management and utilization tracking.
- Knowledge of market trends, products, and solutions (including foundational technical understanding) of Cloud, AI, and Data solutions.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent relationship-building, collaboration, negotiation, communication, project management and analytical skills, demonstrated track track record in technical roles with product management and engineering.

Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Gemini’s model development initiatives by collaborating with key partners, developing detailed project plans, supporting the creation of technical roadmaps in collaboration with engineering stakeholders, defining milestones, tracking progress, and managing dependencies.
- Anticipate and mitigate potential issues that could impact project timelines and enable engineering teams to maintain program velocity.
- Streamline execution and implement automated tooling where applicable.
- Manage compute resources including forecasting, timely reallocations, and making prioritization recommendations to Gemini leads.
- Share knowledge, best practices, and guidance with other team members to enhance overall team performance.
