You'll co-own the delivery of critical programs with organization-wide impact. You will operate independently of organizational boundaries, advocating for long-term improvements to DeepMind-wide initiatives. You will serve as a reward expert, setting the standards for reward practices and nurturing talent through mentorship and coaching. While you lead through influence rather than hierarchy, you will be responsible for forming strategic cross-functional alliances that align the business with our overarching mission.

- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or another field that uses quantitative analysis, or equivalent practical experience.
- 9 years of experience in an analytical HR role, management consulting (e.g., strategy, compensation), or similar analytical role.
- 4 years of experience in compensation.
- 3 years of experience in people management.
- 3 years of experience supporting executive-level management in a corporate environment.
- Experience in a tech company or an environment with unique talent.
- Ability to proactively experiment with Google AI tools, demonstrating a commitment to improve efficiency and ways of working.
- Ability to grow in a fast-paced environment by adjusting strategies as needed to creatively solve problems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust with executive stakeholders and influence others to align direction.

- Lead high-stakes programs, advocating for holistic improvements that go beyond immediate asks.
- Form strategic alliances across DeepMind and Google, influencing stakeholders with competing objectives to align on the mission.
- Set the standards for Reward as a go-to authority, coaching others to elevate the expertise of the broader People and Culture team.
- Solve problems holistically, ensuring solutions integrate with DeepMind’s culture and demonstrating expert judgement.
