Duties
- Perform diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, suspensions, steering components, brakes, shocks & struts, and wheel alignments.
- Service vehicles with oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, tire service, and suspension repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for disassembly, repair, and reassembly of vehicle parts.
- Conduct wheel alignments and suspension diagnostics to improve vehicle handling and ride quality.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed for accurate auto estimating and customer communication.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
- Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using modern scan tools and schematics.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement, brake repair (including air brakes), suspension work, and vehicle maintenance routines.
- Skilled in using hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers) as well as power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and maintenance needs.
- Valid drivers license required. Valid certification or licensing relevant to automotive repair; ASE certification or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
