Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
- Train, coach, and direct team - set the bar high and never underdeliver
- Build respectful relationships with every member of the kitchen team while holding them accountable - integrity and inclusivity are priorities
- Remain hands-on and eyes-on at all times in every aspect of the business
- Manage high standards of service while paying acute attention to every detail
- Focus with the team on creating amazing guest experiences every time
- Keep operations running smoothly in a very high-volume environment
- Tightly manage portion sizes, recipe adherence, prep list completion, and waste controls
Kitchen Manager Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3-5 years experience in a Full-service Restaurant KM or AKM role in a high-volume, systems-oriented casual to upscale-casual environment - NO JOB HOPPERS
- Strong and proven leadership qualities: friendly, coach mentality, lead by example, and uphold restaurant standards
- Thick skin to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to uphold standards, exceed expectations, and build relationships
- Inventory and Ordering are required - previous experience necessary
- Strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards is a must
