We're seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to lead field operations on excavation, utility, and site development projects throughout Southern New Hampshire. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing crews, subcontractors, equipment, and daily project execution while ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily operations on heavy civil, earthwork, utility, grading, and paving projects
- Manage field crews, subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics
- Read and interpret civil plans, specifications, and utility profiles
- Coordinate site activities while maintaining production, quality, and safety standards
- Conduct field inspections, daily reporting, and safety meetings
- Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients to keep projects on track
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of heavy civil, excavation, or site development experience, including 3 years as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
- Strong knowledge of earthwork, underground utilities, grading, paving, and site development
- Ability to read civil blueprints and manage multiple crews and subcontractors
- Experience with Procore, HCSS, GPS grade control, or similar construction technology is a plus
- OSHA 30, CDL, and other heavy civil certifications are highly desirable
