Guest Experience & Service
- Ensure all guests receive warm, personal service that reflects our high-touch standards.
- Respond to guest feedback and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Capture and track OpenTable guest preferences and use them to enhance service.
- Maintain a polished aesthetic aligned with the property’s brand and Forbes/R&C standards.
- Hire, train, and coach hosts, servers, bartenders, and support staff.
- Lead daily pre- and post-shift meetings; stay engaged on the floor throughout service.
- Hold weekly one-on-ones with key staff to discuss performance, wins, and growth.
- Provide ongoing training to reinforce service standards, menu knowledge, and hospitality.
- Oversee smooth restaurant and bar operations from open to close.
- Ensure timely communication and coordination between front- and back-of-house.
- Serve as the last team member to clock out, submitting a daily report before leaving.
- Coordinate FOH scheduling and ensure proper labor coverage based on business needs.
- Meet weekly with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to discuss food quality and execution.
- Work with the bar team to uphold cocktail and wine standards and drive upsell opportunities.
- Help plan and test seasonal menus, offering FOH feedback and guest insights.
- Monitor in-room dining standards and minibar offerings to ensure consistency.
- Work with the Events Manager to staff and execute weddings and private events.
- Attend BEO meetings when restaurant space is involved in event execution.
- Assign FOH staff to support special events while maintaining service standards.
- Track sales and service metrics, reporting to the F&B Director regularly.
- Manage inventory of FOH supplies, menus, uniforms, etc.
- Ensure all menu items are costed accurately.
- Stay involved in guest programming and coordinate food & beverage experiences.
- Participate in weekly department head meetings and communicate updates clearly.
- Support property-wide initiatives by contributing to guest experience planning.
