Our healthcare facility is seeking a passionate, experienced, and strategic leader to join our team as the director of Nursing. As the DON you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the nursing operations ensuring high-quality care for the resident's and building a strong and collaborative nursing team.
Responsiblities :
- Develop and implement strategic plans and policies for nursing operations
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff
- Oversee staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with regulations
- Manage and allocate resources to ensure the smooth running of the nursing department
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
- Collaborate with other department heads to promote interdisciplinary teamwork and achieve organizational goals.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, resident's , and their families.
- Evaluate and improve nursing process and procedures to enhance resident outcomes and quality of care.
