Resort Director Of Finance Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business management. MBA preferred
- 5 years of experience as a Finance Director for a full-service hotel
- 3 years with an independent hotel or hotel with decentralized accounting system
- Experience creating reports and presentations and delivering directly to ownership
- Experience with creating PnL reports, Forecasts, and Budgets
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Excellent and proven abilities with financial analysis
- Oversee all finance and accounting for the business entity
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting including month and year-end
- Ensure proper payment of taxes
- Manage cash flow proactively
- Develop and implement financial systems and processes to effectively manage all finances
- Create reports through analysis that will help guide ownership and leadership in decision-making processes
