We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineering Project Manager to oversee and manage a variety of projects with municipal clients. In this role, you will be responsible for site plan reviews, field investigations, report writing, design engineering, construction engineering, and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough site plan reviews and field investigations to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for projects, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Engage in design engineering, developing innovative solutions that meet client needs and project specifications.
- Oversee construction engineering activities, ensuring projects are executed within budget and on schedule.
- Coordinate with municipal clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Work closely with CADD Operators and GIS Technicians to convert designs into workable drawings.
- Analyze reports, maps, blueprints, and construction plans to provide accurate evaluations and insights.
- Utilize tools such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, and Cybernet for data evaluation and analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (candidates from other engineering disciplines are encouraged to apply).
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in municipal civil engineering or environmental fields.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and vendors.
- Proficiency in CADD Software (AutoCAD, Civil3D) to assist in design and drafting processes.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data accurately for project enhancement.
