Catering Assistant Manager Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute catering events, ensuring top-tier service for high-profile clientele
- Lead daily catering operations with attention to detail and service excellence
- Conduct pre-event briefings and guide staff throughout events
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP)
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and other financial aspects of the operation
- Train and mentor team members on company standards and procedures
- Associate’s degree in food service or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in high-volume food service
- Background in upscale catering, banquets, or resort operations strongly preferred
- Familiarity with vendor management and inventory control systems
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety protocols
- Ability to operate a commercial vehicle
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays (approx. 50 hours/week)
