Business Development Executive Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven sales or business development experience in commercial cleaning, facility services, or janitorial industries
• Strong prospecting, communication, negotiation, and closing skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with property managers, facility managers, building owners, and other key decision-makers
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently while collaborating with leadership and operations teams
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to sales meetings and site visits
  
  

Business Development Executive Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to generate new commercial cleaning accounts
• Prospect through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and in-person visits
• Schedule and conduct property and site visits to understand customer needs and present customized cleaning solutions
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close new business aligned with company goals
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline reports, meeting established sales and profitability objectives
• Collaborate closely with the COO and operations team to ensure successful onboarding and long-term customer satisfaction
