Wage: $26.00 to $34.00
Maximum Range is provided as an example of the Wage/salary range for each position and its earning capacity given factors such as time in position, longevity with the company, education level, and performance experience. Newly entering employees should expect to enter at the minimum level.
Job Summary:
The Mission Services Supervisor implements, oversees, and monitors programs/contracts as assigned by the Mission Services Manager. Serves as the liaison between Goodwill and the referral source. Ensures compliance with all program and/or contract requirements in accordance with corresponding contract specifications as well as Goodwill Industries’ policies and procedures.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Supervises the activities of assigned programs, staff, and/or contracts.
• Functions as Liaison between Goodwill and referral sources.
• Helps market Goodwill programs and services to potential community partners.
• Prepares departmental reports per contract specifications for Goodwill and contracts.
• Functions as the Liaison between Goodwill Industries and Employers.
• Provide informational seminars to the community to educate potential employers as to the benefits of hiring program participants.
• Work effectively with various referral sources in the program and keep them informed on all progress and performance.
• Oversee program records review, and program satisfaction assessments.
• Maintain documentation, prepare reports and keep the Director of Workforce Services informed of issues relevant to the provision of workforce services.
• Ensures database is up-to-date and accurate.
• Performs in-house monitoring/audits to ensure program outcomes are met.
• Trains, or make training available to programs’ staff.
• Fills in for Missions Services staff when necessary.
• Sets up procedures with project managers to ensure that all programs work together.
• Oversees cohesiveness of all programs and contracts.
• Provides support across Santa Barbara County Mission programs as needed, with regular travel required between Santa Maria, Lompoc, and Santa Barbara Mission offices.
• Performs other related duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team, and/or mission.

Required Experience:

As a Goodwill Industries of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties Office Staff member, this position requires an extended introductory period of one-hundred and eighty (180) days from the date of hire.
