As a Science Instructor, you will meet students where they are academically, personally, and professionally—guiding them toward success through innovative and student-centered learning.

What You’ll Do

The Science Instructor facilitates engaging learning experiences while supporting the academic and personal success of adult learners. In this role, you will:

• Deliver science instruction aligned with Indiana State Standards

• Implement a student-centered learning environment that meets students where they are academically

• Utilize a variety of instructional methods including:

  • Direct instruction

  • One-on-one support

  • Seminars and small group learning

  • Self-paced instruction

  • Online learning platforms

• Apply high-impact instructional practices and motivational techniques to inspire student engagement

• Develop and continuously improve science curriculum to support student success

• Collaborate with the instructional team to support student progress and program goals

• Foster a classroom culture built on grit, creativity, innovation, and encouragement

• Support students as they build confidence and achieve their educational goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Science or related field preferred)

• Indiana Teaching License or ability to obtain licensure

• Experience teaching or working with diverse learners preferred

• Strong commitment to student-centered education

• Ability to adapt instruction and motivate learners from various academic backgrounds

• Passion for helping adult learners succeed
