Overview
Responsible for the leading Mission Services activities in the Region. Provide oversight to Mission Service activities in a manner that develops and maintains a positive image in the community while accomplishing organizational goals. Provides oversight of service delivery of Goodwill Mission Service Department programs. In conjunction with the Sr. Mission Services Director, continue to implement new programs and provide ongoing support services. Responsible for hiring, motivating, training and supervising employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

- Manage and lead the Mission services team to ensure quality service delivery and outcomes. (E)
- Responsible for developing & implementing Mission Service programs in the region. (E)
- Create and maintain partnerships with local agencies and organizations to present a positive image for Goodwill and generate a referral base that aligns with Goodwill’s Mission. (E)
- Regularly present and educate community groups to promote Goodwill. (E)
- Establish relationships with local employers to assist in Mission Service delivery to ensure quality placements. (E)
- Serve as a community advocate for Goodwill in the region. (E)
- Assign tasks, offer resources, and connect clients to other organizations as needed and as recommended by the clients’ IEP. (E)
- Maintain system for record keeping and tracking data accurately and timely, as required by supervisor. Produce data as appropriate (E)
- Run reports and maintain data to determine program outcomes. (E)
- Expertly navigate databases such as client tracking, ADP, Outlook, etc. (E)
- Responsible for hiring, training and motivating Mission service employees. (E)
- Train and educate staff regarding behavior, productivity and attendance. Inform your supervisor of any issues or potential issues. (E)
- Ensure employee competencies & evaluations are completed thoroughly and timely. (E)
- Ensure that employees meet or exceed established goals. (E)
- Follow budgetary guidelines & improve processes to meet or exceed those guidelines. (E)
- Maintain, edit and approve employee time in ADP database. (E)
- Enforce & adhere to all laws, regulations, company policies, procedures & practices. (E)
- Effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly. (E)
- Communicate appropriately and positively with co-workers and others. (E)
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. (E)
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
- One-year leadership/supervisory experience preferred
- One-year full-time experience performing job training or case management services is preferred
QUALIFICATIONS / SPECIFIC SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:
- Valid Texas Drivers License and good driving record
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information.
- Exercise sound judgment and follow-through on assignments independently and as a team player.
- Maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times
- Requires extreme diplomacy and tact
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, train, and effectively relate to individuals who have disabilities or other barriers to employment.
