The Manager of Investments is a key driver of investment strategy and client success. This leadership role oversees all aspects of the firm’s investment programs, guiding the Investment Committee, shaping asset allocation models, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client objectives.
You will lead due diligence for money managers and private equity funds, deliver market insights, and cultivate high-value client relationships. The position impacts strategic decision-making and portfolio performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the Investment Committee and guide decisions on investment vehicles
- Preparing and presenting research, reports, and analytics in written, numerical, and graphical formats
- Conducting due diligence and ongoing monitoring of money managers and private equity funds
- Developing and updating strategic and tactical asset allocation models
- Managing client relationships and providing tailored investment recommendations
- Creating and supervising monthly and quarterly market reports
- Communicating strategies to client service teams and summarizing market trends and risks
- Keeping leadership informed of significant industry developments and challenges
- Overseeing J-Curve data maintenance and outsourced advisory relationships
- Managing investment account budgets and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Supervisory Duties:
Supervise accounting staff, investment analysts, and operations personnel, including hiring, training, performance management, and issue resolution.
Requirements: Chartered Financial Analyst certification required. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant business field and 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates will possess exceptional analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in advanced financial tools. Finalist candidates will be requested to provide a writing sample.
