NOW HIRING! Goodwill TalentBridge is partnering with a leading debt collection and litigation firm to recruit a full-time Attorney. We’re looking for a seasoned professional with 5 years of civil litigation experience, ideally with a background in creditor rights and collections, and a strong desire to advance toward partnership within 3–5 years.

This position is 100% on-site in a collaborative, team-oriented environment where attorneys, paralegals, and support staff work closely together. The role involves regular court appearances and managing a diverse range of civil litigation matters aligned with creditor-side practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Civil Litigation & Creditor Rights: Draft, file, and argue motions; manage discovery; conduct depositions; prepare for and attend hearings and trials in state courts.
  • Briefs & Case Law Development: Research complex legal issues; draft persuasive briefs, memoranda, and pleadings; cite and develop supportive case law; prepare affidavits and proposed orders.
  • Collections & Enforcement: Handle collection matters, including judgment enforcement, post-judgment remedies, and creditor-side procedural strategies.
  • Client Advisory & Communication: Advise clients on civil practice strategies aligned with creditor rights; maintain clear, timely communication and exceptional professionalism.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with collection paralegals, support staff, and attorneys in a coordinated, open-setting workflow; contribute to process improvements and mentorship.
  • Court Appearances: Represent clients in routine and contested matters; manage calendars and litigation timelines to ensure efficient case progression.

Note: Our client’s civil practice emphasizes creditor-side litigation and enforcement, the opposite of a bankruptcy-focused practice—while following the same core civil procedures (pleadings, motions, discovery, trial).
