Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all operations within the Donation Door area.
- Assist Donation Door Attendants with receiving, recording, sorting, and processing donations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure full compliance with Kaizen guidelines, audits, and 5‑minute drill standards.
- Coordinate donation flow to support efficient processing and workflow.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to donors and internal teams.
- Assist with processing, cleaning, building fixtures or equipment, and related tasks as needed.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Previous experience in retail and/or stock handling preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other donation‑handling equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Sufficient mobility to turn, lean, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to see and accurately recognize colors.
- Knowledge of basic math skills.
- Ability to frequently lift items weighing at least 40 pounds.
- Ability to occasionally team lift items weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work in environments where temperatures and climate may fluctuate.
