What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interpreter- Independent Contractor position at Goodwill Southern Los Angeles County?

Interpreter-Independent Contractor
- Be fluent in both English and target language
- Be Certified or be prepared to be tested in interpreted language
- Be prepared to have Livescan and Background Checks conducted
- Be familiar with HIPPA and Cultural Sensitivity trainings
- Adhere to CHIA Professional Code of Conduct standards
- Be comfortable with the consecutive interpretation process (Simultaneous a plus)
- Strong passion for interpreting and customer service.
- Facilitate interpretation in a variety of subjects: in Medical, Business, and Education Settings
- Be experienced with both face to face and remote interpreting.
