POSITION SUMMARY:

The Multi-Site Donation Center Manager is responsible for leading Goodwill’s Donation Express Centers, mobile donation trailer locations, and other assigned donation sites across the service territory. This role provides operational leadership, people management, donor experience oversight, and performance accountability for Goodwill’s community-based donation network.

The Donation Center Manager ensures donation sites are safe, clean, organized, fully staffed, and operating according to Goodwill standards. This position manages site-level execution, supports donation attendants and supervisors, coordinates mobile donation trailer operations, monitors donation volume and product flow, and partners with transportation, retail, outlet, distribution, and field operations teams to ensure donations move efficiently through the organization.
This role serves as the primary operational leader for donation center performance, mobile donation site readiness, donor service consistency, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across the donation network.

Duties will also include but are not limited to:

• Oversee daily operations for all assigned Donation Express Centers, mobile donation trailers, and temporary donation sites.
• Coordinate with transportation, retail stores, outlets, distribution centers, and salvage teams to ensure timely movement of donated goods.
• Maintain visibility in the field by regularly visiting Donation Express Centers and mobile donation trailer locations.
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop team members to meet donor service, safety, productivity, and operational expectations.
• Partner with People Services as needed on hiring, performance management, employee relations, and policy compliance.
• Supervise Multi-Site Donation Supervisors, Mobile Donation Specialists, Donation Express Attendants, and other assigned donation operations team members.
• Lead root-cause problem solving for donation site challenges, including overflow, poor site conditions, low donation volume, donor complaints, or transportation delays.
• Collaborate with field operations and retail leadership on donation quality, product mix, donor behavior, and site opportunities.

Travel: This position requires travel, and the individual must be willing to travel as needed.

Required Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma AND 3 years Experience OR
• Associates degree And 2 year experience OR
• Bachelors and 1 year experience.

Required Experience:

• Leading a team in a retail, production, or service environment
• Managing schedules, staffing plans, workflow, and daily operational priorities
• Using reports, checklists, audits, or performance tools to manage operations

Preferred Experience:

• Handling customer concerns or escalation
• Coaching or supporting employee performance

External Hiring Range: $60,000-$64,000/year

REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI, and PA PATCH)
