Job Title: Assistant Manager Centralized Processing
Locations: Goodwill North Central Texas --- 4005 Campus Dr., Fort Worth, Texas
Salary: $17.37 per hour
Work Hours: FT (40 Hrs. per Week) Monday through Friday,

General Job Duties: Oversees designated staff, managing their schedules and providing training to ensure the smooth functioning of Centralized Processing operations on a daily basis. Assist with conflict resolution to including knowledge of the reporting process, managing ongoing employee concerns or behavioral problems and collection of supporting documentation as needed. Assists with viewing applications, conducting phone screens, verifying availability and scheduling interviews at the direction of the Regional Production Manager. Defers to Regional Production Manger to complete all other aspects of the hiring process, such as making hiring decisions. Assigns daily tasks as necessary to meet production targets and fosters team morale while cultivating a positive work atmosphere. Demonstrates adept time management skills, including managing break and lunch periods effectively. Ensure that production consistently meets or exceeds established department quotas while maintaining high standards of quality and pricing. Assist in supervising special projects such as new store openings, pop-up shops, and various departmental events. This includes tasks such as loading finished products into bins or gaylords and transferring them to and from staging areas and storage trailers. Coordinate closely with the Transportation department to ensure that containers are loaded onto the correct trucks for distribution to each store location, utilizing both verbal communication and email correspondence for effective coordination. Work closely with other departments housed within the warehouse facility to ensure efficient product and supply movement to maintain GWNCTs satellite facilities product and supply needs. Keep interior and surrounding area neat and clean. Restocking supplies as needed for Centralized Processing.
Skills/Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Proven skills in planning, organizing, reporting, and training. The ability to work effectively and communicate with disabled and disadvantaged individuals. Strong leadership skills need to be demonstrated in previous employment and/or position. Must have proven computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to operate and use GWNCTs inventory management system or aptitude for quickly acquiring it and possess good number sense. Must have current fashion and merchandise quality knowledge. Good verbal and written communication skills. Must possess forklift certification or the ability to acquire within 60 days of employment. and maintain certification at all times.
Physical Requirements: Walking, stooping, standing, reaching, pulling, pushing, lifting 50 pounds on a consistent basis, some heavier lifting required with assistance, good physical stamina. Ability to communicate clearly with customers and other team members. Some extremes of temperature, dust, and noise. Must be mobile to move from function to function. Must maintain scheduled work hours.
Legal Requirements: Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements, ability to pass background, drug screen, and physical.
