The Youth Services Senior Program Manager is responsible for the overall management of multiple youth grant(s) and program(s) serving urban and rural geographical locations statewide. This includes ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, scope of work defined by the funding agency, regulatory requirements, program development, financial management, accreditation standards, hiring, supervising, evaluating, delivery of service, quality, and developing program policies. Essential Duties And Tasks
- Responsible for all management aspects of assigned grant(s) and program(s).
- Audits reports to ensure program eligibility and funding source documentation guidelines are met.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual program status reports as required.
- Trains staff to ensure compliance with service provision and documentation of services provided according to policies and procedures.
- Serves as liaison to funding grants management staff to ensure compliance with program requirements. Serves as liaison to referral sources and beneficiaries to ensure excellent customer service compliance with program requirements.
- Interprets Federal laws, regulations and administrative code about public benefits. Ensures accurate entry of participant information and maintain responsibility for organization of records in the approved grant required database(s).
- Conducts and coordinates outreach efforts and work in cooperation with Federal, State and private agencies, and nonprofit organizations that serve people with disabilities, disadvantages, and youth with barriers.
- Obtains and maintains full all certifications as required by grant.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in health, social work, social science or related field required.
- At least three (3) years of work experience in youth services, social work; or related field.
- Experience in program management and quality assurance a plus.
- Must demonstrate the ability to understand contracts and program regulations.
- Must have outstanding oral and written communication, collaborative teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of diverse people.
- This job may have physical requirements that considered sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity and occasional lifting to 15 pounds.
