Position Title: Product Acquisition Manager

Wage: $70,000 - $85,000 yearly
Job Summary:
The Product Acquisition Manager supervises freestanding donation centers and small format retail locations, assists Operations and Marketing with donation drives, scouts new donation center locations with CRO, orders new items for stores, creates planograms and fixture layouts for new goods, tracks new goods inventory and sales, coordinates replenishment with new orders or inventory transfers and tracks profitability by item and vendor. Supervises the central production team.
Please note that this position has a 180-day introductory period.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Researches and partners with new goods vendors.
• Supervise the in-store merchandising team.
• Supervises all stand-alone donation sites and small format retail locations.
• Assists Operations, Logistics and Marketing departments to find partners for donation drive events. Works with Operations and Logistics to facilitate the events.
• Supervises the Central Production Team and coordinates with DM’s and Director of Retail to determine which stores need supplemental product.
• Coach Central Production Team to ensure piece-per-hour goals are met by the team.
• Orders new goods items.
• Creates floor display plans and fixture layouts of new goods at stores.
• Visits store locations to verify proper display of New Goods.
• Tracks and replenishes new goods inventory by store.
• Coordinates with warehouse staff for storage and shipping of new goods inventory.
• Analyzes new goods sales trend by store.
• Moves new goods items from poor selling stores to stores that sell those items well. Balances inventory.
• Uses NetSuite to perform inventory transfers and track sales in partnership with the Accounting Department.
• Works with stores on inventory counts, tracking damage, theft and other inventory shrink.
• Reports shrink to Accounting Department quarterly for inventory write-off.
• Performs other related duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team, and/or mission.
Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office/Office 365.
• Strong computer skills. NetSuite and advanced Excel knowledge.

Required Experience:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and or abilities required for the position. Individuals must be able to pass a criminal background. Individuals must have a valid driver’s license, liability insurance, insurability under the agency insurance carrier, dependable vehicle and a clean driving record.
• 2 years of experience in multi-site management.
• Knowledge of production process.
• Experience buying new goods for re-sale.
