What You’ll Do
As the Career Center Manager, you’ll take ownership of all center operations, blending strategic vision with boots-on-the-ground leadership. From coaching staff and cultivating community partnerships to using data to fine-tune services, you’ll lead with purpose and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Inspire: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of staff members. You’ll foster a collaborative, inclusive, and mission-driven work environment.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with safety, confidentiality, and customer service standards.
- Empower Growth: Deliver hands-on training and professional development, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Build Bridges: Develop strong relationships with local employers, educational institutions, chambers of commerce, and community partners to expand job opportunities and support local hiring needs.
- Champion Our Mission: Promote the center’s services through outreach, social media, public events, and collaborative partnerships.
- Use Data for Impact: Leverage performance metrics and CRM systems to monitor progress, drive decisions, and improve service delivery.
What You Bring

Required Experience & Qualifications:
- 4 years in workforce development, education, nonprofit, or a related field.
- Previous supervisory or management experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Comfortable traveling locally for community outreach and partner engagement.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected—travel required for community outreach, partnership meetings, and professional development.
