Job Description
The Donation Center Attendant position is mainly responsible for inventory control. The position offers flexible hours up to 30 hours per week. We are looking for a dependable person who is able to sort and organize donations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge and/or experience in customer service
- Knowledge and/or experience in retail operations
- Ability to work varied schedules and hours
- Ability to work well with others and be a productive member of a team
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to pass a drug test
Physical Expectations
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, climb ladder, walk, bend, reach, push and pull
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand motions
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors
Responsibilities
- Receiving donations from donors while providing professional customer service at all times
- Empty donation bins
- Sorting, handling and pricing donations
- Assist in stocking/merchandising sales floor
- Ability to meet or exceed daily production goals
- Maintain a clean and operable work environment
- Promote Goodwill’s Mission
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Guidelines
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
