Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:Dispatches the transportation department’s fleet of vehicles. Ensures timely pickups, deliveries, and communication between truck and both internal and external customers. Tracks and monitors the fleet and the flow of product. Assists with the basic supervision of the truck drivers and truck helpers, but not responsible for any accountability, only direction, re-direction and reporting. May be assigned to work at multiple locations, within a region, as required by operational necessity.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Education: High School Graduate or General Equivalency Degree (GED) preferred.
Experience: One year related experience required or employment with Goodwill in the Transportation Department. Two years related experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Proficient basic skills in the following: E-mail, MS Word, and MS Excel.
Certificates & Licenses: Valid California Driver’s License with driving record acceptable to Goodwill’s insurance company’s standards.
Other Requirements: Industrial driving experience preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
