What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Keeper-Falls Creek position at Goodwill Industries of NCPA?
PURPOSE:
- Reports directly to Vice President of Transportation and Logistics.
- Will be responsible for grounds keeping of Goodwill Falls Creek location along with other locations as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain landscaping and grounds daily including trash removal, sweeping or otherwise cleaning of parking lot, sidewalks, building perimeter, and surrounding store property.
- Maintain the landscape and grounds in the spring, summer, and fall seasons, including mowing trimming, weed control, pruning, mulching, leaf removal, and similar duties.
- Assist with morning donation center cleanup.
- Other indoor/outdoor tasks as assigned by store management.

- Degree to which respect and confidence of co-workers is established.
- Quality, quantity, and timeliness in the performance of assigned tasks.
- The manner in which one’s conduct reflects the high standards of morals and integrity expected of all Goodwill associates.
- Ability to meet deadlines and respond to special requests and the desires of management.

Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:
- It is necessary to be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, reach, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- The position will require operating equipment such as a mower, trimmer, blowers, and a pick-up truck.
- Position requires motivated individual with ability to prioritize tasks.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
