The Talent Acquisition Specialist II is a high-impact, mission-driven role responsible for supporting the full life cycle of recruitment for Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia & the CSRA (GIMG), Helms College, and Edgar’s Hospitality Group. This position partners closely with the Director of Human Resources and the Talent Acquisition team to attract exceptional talent across all business units. As part of a lean HR team serving a nonprofit mission, teamwork, cross-functional support, confidentiality, and professionalism are expected in every aspect of this role. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support full life cycle recruitment efforts for assigned positions across GIMG, Helms College, and Edgar’s Hospitality Group with targeted search strategies for each open role, ensuring quality and speed of hire.
- Maintain urgency throughout the recruitment process while delivering an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Utilize creative sourcing techniques including online research, digital platforms, Boolean searches, social media, cold outreach, community partners, alumni groups, and referral programs.
- Build and maintain a competitive pipeline of external candidates for recurring and high-volume needs.
- Engage as an employment brand ambassador, proactively promoting Goodwill’s mission, culture, and opportunities both internally and externally.
- Provide timely communication, updates, and support to leadership, hiring managers, candidates, and teammates.
- Represent Goodwill at job fairs, community outreach events, and recruitment activities.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking System (ATS), HRIS tools, digital sourcing platforms, and data analytics to support efficient, accurate recruiting processes.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, requisition data, reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance the effectiveness of the TA function.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, human resources, marketing, or related field.
- Strong customer service, sales, hospitality, or people-focused experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency with digital tools, Microsoft Office, and other related online platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel locally for job fairs, interviews, and community outreach events when needed.
Preferred:
- 1-2 years of recruitment or HR experience
- Prior experience with a HRIS and ATS; Paycom is a plus.
