LOCAL driving with these Day to Day Job Responsibilities:
- Operating vehicles and other assigned equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Making daily check of vehicle per DOT standards and complete proper paperwork for inspection
- Assist in loading and unloading materials in a proper safe and careful manner at the plant or outlying store and Attended Donation Center locations
- Placement of materials when unloading into designated container and/or department.
- Maintaining and use of assigned cellular phone according to company guidelines (reporting to dispatcher/supervisor).
- Reporting all unsafe conditions observed
- Greeting all donors in a friendly, courteous manner and provide receipts as needed
- Following route in designated order and reporting of any changes due to unforeseen circumstances

Qualifications:
- Ability and skills to operate straight trucks and 53 ft. semi-trailers
- High school diploma helpful
- Reading, writing and math skills are required
- Vocational Training – helpful
- Previous Training – required.
- Must have valid Michigan Commercial Driver’s License with all endorsements required for vehicles assigned to drive
- Must be able to pass a Clearinghouse License reference check
- Good driving record with no more than four points per Michigan moving violation system
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
- Ability to pass drug/alcohol test
