$17 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Take part in regular meetings to review store performance and help develop improvement strategies
- Oversee and coordinate daily store operations, including sales floor activities, merchandising, inventory management, and customer service
- Enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for both employees and customers
- Maintain clear communication with the Store Manager regarding operations, staff performance, and store challenges
- Foster collaboration across departments to meet store objectives and improve operational efficiency
- Evaluate employee performance, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and support professional growth
- Support in creating and executing corrective action plans to resolve operational concerns
- Recruit, hire, and train team members to build a competent, diverse, and motivated workforce
- Identify and respond to potential security concerns, including internal theft and shoplifting
- Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations and team success
- Take appropriate disciplinary actions to maintain high standards of conduct and performance
Qualifications:
- Solid customer service abilities, including resolving concerns and maintaining customer satisfaction
- Proven supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and hold team members accountable
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance for travel to different job sites
- High school diploma or equivalent required, or the ability to obtain one through The Excel Center
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screening
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with staff, customers, and leadership
- Experience cultivating a positive, supportive, and productive workplace environment
