What are the responsibilities and job description for the Donation Center Donor Attendant position at GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF GREATER DETROIT?
Position Summary: Our store donor attendants greet and help people who are making a donation, and then do an initial sort of that donation to speed along the processing of those donations. You'll need to provide excellent service to our donors! This is a critical role in our retail stores and is eligible for healthy incentive pay based on the store's performance.
Position Duties:
- Greet and assist all donors.
- Receive and, as appropriate, politely decline donations from teh public in accordance with established guidelines.
- Provide all donors with access to a receipt in accordance with established guidelines.
- Identify and sort donations for further processing in accordance with established guidelines.
- Other duties, as assigned.
