Summary

The Prosperity Planner delivers structured coaching and case management services that help individuals improve economic stability and advance toward sustainable employment and long-term self-sufficiency. Through individualized planning, performance tracking, and coordinated access to community resources, this role drives measurable progress in financial capability, career readiness, and educational attainment. The position contributes directly to Mission Impact outcomes by managing an active participant caseload, ensuring consistent program delivery, and supporting data-driven evaluation of participant success.

Member Coaching and Goal Advancement

  • Manage an active caseload of program participants, maintaining consistent engagement through scheduled coaching sessions
  • Facilitate development of individualized action plans aligned to participant goals and program frameworks
  • Monitor progress toward milestones and adjust coaching strategies to support sustained participation
  • Reinforce accountability through structured follow-up and outcome-focused guidance


Financial, Career, and Education Planning

  • Provide practical coaching related to budgeting, savings strategies, credit improvement, and financial decision-making
  • Guide participants in identifying viable career pathways and advancement opportunities
  • Support planning for education, credential attainment, or skills development aligned with employment goals
  • Connect participants to tools and services that support long-term economic mobility


Community Partnership and Resource Coordination

  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal programs and external community partners
  • Coordinate referrals that address employment, training, financial, or social service needs
  • Support participant access to scholarship or workforce initiatives that strengthen career outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to expand community resource networks that enhance program effectiveness
  • Facilitate workshops with community partners to support participant development in financial capability, career readiness, and education planning.


Program Documentation and Performance Metrics

  • Maintain accurate and timely participant records in designated case management systems
  • Track caseload performance using defined program indicators such as engagement frequency, goal attainment, retention, and completion outcomes
  • Prepare required weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports
  • Contribute to program evaluation activities by gathering participant feedback and supporting continuous improvement efforts


Professional Development and Program Standards

  • Participate in ongoing training and demonstrate proficiency in program coaching methodologies
  • Maintain working knowledge of accreditation requirements and organizational policies
  • Model professionalism and contribute to a collaborative, mission-driven work environment

Scope Factors- Revenue, Assets, Budget, Profit/Loss, Supervisory

  • Caseload Complexity: Manages multiple participants simultaneously, balancing varying levels of readiness, barriers to employment, and service needs.
  • Performance Accountability: Success measured through participant engagement levels, documented progress toward economic mobility milestones, program completion rates, and data accuracy.
  • Consultation: Partners with program leadership, workforce development staff, community agencies, and training providers.
  • Impact: Direct influence on participant employment readiness, financial stability outcomes, and overall Mission Impact program effectiveness.



Qualifications – Education & Experience

  • Associate degree in social services, workforce development, counseling, finance, or related field required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in coaching, case management, workforce programs, or financial capability may substitute for formal education.
  • 3 years of experience supporting individuals facing employment or economic barriers preferred.



Qualifications – Other Skills, Abilities & Knowledge

  • Ability to coach, motivate, and guide individuals toward defined goals
  • Practical knowledge of financial capability concepts, career navigation, or education planning
  • Strong organizational and documentation discipline
  • Proficiency with standard business technology and case management tools
  • Ability to travel independently within assigned service areas
  • Certifications in career counseling, financial coaching, or related fields is preferred
  • Bilingual capability, particularly Spanish or Creole is highly valued


Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Ability to sit, stand, or move for extended periods and lift up to 10 pounds regularly and 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to hear normal conversation, communicate clearly, and adjust to varied noise levels in office and retail settings.
  • Vision sufficient for computer work, documentation, and observation of participant activities.
  • Ability to travel independently to community sites, retail locations, and partner meetings.


Licensing and Certification

  • Valid Florida Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record
  • Credit Counseling Certification
  • HUD Housing Counselor
  • Financial Coach
  • Career Coach
  • Mortgage Loan Originator
  • Series 6, 65, 66, or 7.
