Position Title: Assistant Manager
FLSA: Non-Exempt (Full-Time)
** Must have flexibility for Call outs and Weekends**
Summary Description:
Goodwill is searching for an Assistant Manager in the Pittsfield location. If you are an organized high energy person with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced clothing/wares retail environment, then we are interested in hearing from you.
Prior experience in retail as an Assistant Manager along with the ability to direct the activities of the retail store to ensure maximum revenues, effectiveness and profitability. Ensure smooth flow of operations and provide excellent customer service to achieve company financial goals. Maintain compliance with required standards for all activities of assigned department.
Enforce sales policies and procedures as well as employee policies and procedures.
Ensure a safe working and shopping environment.
Monitor safe operation of agency property and equipment.
Seek innovative strategies to heighten operational efficiency
Qualifications: Prior retail management essential. High School Diploma or general education degree. Associates degree would be beneficial. . Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
