What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning and Development Generalist position at Goodwill Industries Manasota Inc?
Under the direction of the Director of Learning and Development, the Learning and Development Generalist designs and facilitates leadership development experiences that build organizational capability and strengthen a culture of learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate leadership development programs aligned with Goodwill’s Core Values and standards of inclusion, respect, empowerment, and engagement.
- Partner with leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to assess leadership development needs and design effective learning solutions.
- Design and deliver blended learning experiences, including instructor-led training, coaching, e-learning, and experiential learning.
- Supports the Leadership Development Program (LDP), ensuring program integrity, effectiveness, and impact.
- Support leaders in developing individualized development plans (IDPs) and facilitate follow-up conversations to reinforce learning application.
- Review and continuously improve leadership development content in partnership with leadership teams.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in organizational development, training, or education, preferred.
- Minimum of three years in the field of Learning and Development, or Training to include instructional design, instructor-led presentations, and multiple platform delivery.
Special Requirements:
- Must be able to work occasional after-hours and weekends
- Incumbent must possess a valid driver's license, appropriate insurance coverage, and a privately owned reliable means of transportation to travel throughout GIMI territory.
- Ability to bend, reach, and stand for extensive period of time, and lift up to twenty-five pounds on an occasional basis.
