Role Description
This is apart-time on-site role for a CNA Instructor at Goodwill Industries-Knoxville, Inc., located in Morristown, TN. The CNA Instructor will be responsible for conducting CNA training classes, providing hands-on instruction at the training facility and clinical site, and evaluating student performance. The instructor will also ensure the training program meets state regulations and maintain updated records of student progress and certification status.
Qualifications
- Experience supervising or training nurse assistants or train the trainer certification
- Knowledge of state regulations related to CNA programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teaching and student engagement
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- LPN License and at least one year of long-term care experience
- BLS/CPR Instructor certification a plus
- Experience working with individuals with barriers to employment is a plus
