Career Navigator-Dislocated Worker

Position Summary:

The Career Navigator provides services that may include career counseling and coaching, evaluation, transitional employment, employment and career readiness training, job placement, retention and support services, case coordination, tracking and reporting activities. The Career Navigator will interact with internal and external teams to deliver seamless services to individuals and ensure that positive relationships are maintained resulting in optimal employment outcomes for individuals served. The Career Navigator will support individuals participating in the Dislocated Worker Program in Ramsey County.

Day in the life: In a typical day, the Career Navigator....

• Career Navigation Services: Provides job placement assistance and career counseling resulting in optimal employment outcomes for individuals served.
• Case Management Coordination: Ensures that seamless and comprehensive services are delivered to the individual providing coordinated service options and resources to meet their needs resulting in positive outcomes for individuals served. Serve as the main contact and coordinator for the individual and other involved partners, persons or agencies.
• Documentation: Maintains complete, accurate and timely documentation of individuals served by following established applicable procedures, guidelines, funder requirements, and laws. Organize and report essential caseload information on a regular basis to support program and organizational goals

Job Pay & Perks:

• Pay range: $25.87-$36.29hr
• This is a scheduled-hybrid role whose essential functions require work to be conducted at a physical location, which may include a GESMN or partner facility, at least two (2) days per week. The remaining days can be worked from the employee’s home office or a designated community setting as directed by the manager.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software and the ability to accurately enter data into computer-based systems
• Must have a valid driver's license, be at least 21 years of age, pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and carry automobile liability insurance coverage with a minimum of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000 limits or a combined single limit of $300,000
